Designer: Lucid Studio Private Residence in Lakewood. This amazing 130†slab of 2cm Arabescato quartz for the kitchen island countertop. What an astonishing vein pattern flowing down the waterfall edge. I have to add my opinion though :P, the more I see it installed, the more I like it- the slick 2cm thickness of the material has been more requested in the Denver metro areas, the standard is a 3cm (1 ¼â€) thickness for Colorado, but has been shifting towards the thinner/contemporary look in the last few years, and I love that minimalistic look, installed a few 2cm tops in my new remodel.. Natural material like granite, marble and soapstone are still making its statement in the mountain areas in the 3cm (and added build-up) thickness, giving the room that 'strong and masculine' presence. The white and gray colors/patterns are still in the design spectrum of today’s home interiors. Below are some images of the 2cm Quartz ‘Arabescato’ by Pental Quartz.
